np: radiohead - high and dry.
wow 2 weeks of school have already passed. phys lab is still a waste of time. bio lab is still the only lab that makes sense and my flora and fauna tutor may or may not be a sarcastic bitch. i'll let you know when i know her better. my phys tutor thinks he's damn cool but in reality he's a little bit irritating. bio tutor is a gem of a woman and my chem tutor is the bomb.
had my first chem lab on tuesday. we were working with menthol and i had the mother of all blocked noses so i basically shoved my head in the conical flask everytime the demonstrator wasnt looking so i could breathe in the menthol and clear my lungs. worked to a certain extent but i dunno what other chemicals i was breathing in, so if i suddenly grow another pair of eyes or another head ya'll will know why.
had a greaaaaaat weekend before that. friday since i finish at 11 i met sandhya and pei lien for lunch and i had my first souvlaki. it was damn good. went to vic mart to shop for the mexican party that night. we walked around in sombreros and streamers holding tequila and lemons after that. if we had done that in singapore somebody would have called the cops.haha.
met jema and grace to grocery shop after which we hung out at my house for what seemed like hours, just talking, singing, lazing around...it felt so good to be with them again. made my way to sand's at around 930. the party was damn fun from start to end. just damn awesome fun. went to the lounge for a bit after which we went back to estelle's to play poker til about 430.
had a girl's night(or morning) in until sunrise when we walked in the rain and cold to a little french patisserie to get croissants and hot chocolate for breakfast. shopped with the sister later and bought GORGEOUS LOVELY AMAZING nine west flats, plus some much needed new bras. sister's bf was very kind to follow us without complaining.and they bought me flowers!! AWW. i love em. they're dying but im resolutely watering them and keeping them on my desk. there are about five left standing but i dont care. haha.
finally replenished the ink in my printer so i'm furiously printing 2 weeks of lecture notes as i type out this entry. i spent 59 bucks on ink sia! HEART PAIN!
yesterday i spent a great night hanging out with sand at her place. estelle wanted us to go for her cocktail party(which i passed on the way to sand's place. the guys were looking DAMN hot in their tuxes) but we couldnt afford it so sand made sandwiches, i brought the much craved PODS plus the classic movie bend it like beckham and we had an awesome possum night just vegging out on her couch, plus talking to her mum on skype, which is a real pain in the ass, as my family will tell you.
got home at about 1230 and slept like 4 hours before i had to get up for school today but its all good cos i just had 3 lectures and now i'm off for another weekend of FUN! i wanna see the simpsons.i cant believe melissa doesnt really like it. the simpsons are the best cartoon.ever.
